- Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) ;
- Modelling the dynamics of winds and jets (acceleration and collimation)
- Studies of MHD singularities (critical surfaces) in steady flows and analogy with Black Hole horizons
- Modelling specific objects: protostellar jets of class 0, class 1 (disk winds) and class 2 (stellar-X-winds), the solar wind (Ulysses), extragalactic jets, flows in solar loops
- Criterion of the collimation of jets, application to the evolution of Young Stellar Jets into winds and study of the classification of ExtraGalactic Jets
- Studies of relativistic jets and coronae ; applications to extragalactic jets and micro-quasars
- Development of numerical tools for modelling relativistic jets
